The Paloma is a classic Mexican cocktail usually made with lime juice, tequila and grapefruit soda. This version, created by Scott Baird for Comal in Berkeley, takes a twist with smoky mezcal, fresh grapefruit juice and Cocchi Americano, a sweet Italian aperitif wine.
Ingredients
- 1 measure lime juice
- 1 measure tequila
- 1 measure grapefruit soda
- 1 measure smoky mezcal
- 1 measure fresh grapefruit juice
- 1 measure Cocchi Americano
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
- Shake well and strain into a glass.
