Shinkenfleckerl

A favorite lunch-time dish of Ingo’s aunt, Tante Traudl feauturing pasta, ham and eggs.

Shinkenfleckerl

  • Servings: 2 cups

Ingredients

  • Fleckerl Noodles
  • Smoked Ham
  • 2 eggs

Directions

  • Cook the noodles in water until tender. Drain.
  • Cook the ham in 3-4 cups of water. Drain, reserving water.
  • Cut the ham into medium-sized pieces, and then grind coarsely into a roasting pan.
  • Cover with the drained noodles.
  • Add the eggs to the reserved cooking water, mix and then pour over the ham/noodle mixture.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours until golden.
