A favorite lunch-time dish of Ingo’s aunt, Tante Traudl feauturing pasta, ham and eggs.
Shinkenfleckerl
Ingredients
- Fleckerl Noodles
- Smoked Ham
- 2 eggs
Directions
- Cook the noodles in water until tender. Drain.
- Cook the ham in 3-4 cups of water. Drain, reserving water.
- Cut the ham into medium-sized pieces, and then grind coarsely into a roasting pan.
- Cover with the drained noodles.
- Add the eggs to the reserved cooking water, mix and then pour over the ham/noodle mixture.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours until golden.
