Mongolian Beef Meatballs

Ingredients
Meatballs
- 1 lb ground beef (prefer 80/20 but you can sub for leaner meat)
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2-3 green onions, chopped
- 0.5 cup panko bread crumbs
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped (add according to preference for a super garlicky taste)
- 1 egg
- Black pepper
Sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 tsp cornstarch (mix with the water to make slurry before adding)
- 2 tbsp Thai spicy sauce (Huy Fong Chili Garlic Sauce)
Directions
- Mix all the meatball ingredients and make about 22 meatballs with one tbsp scoop.
- Put in oven at 400 F for 12-14 mins.
- For the sauce, mix everything on medium heat until it thickens.
- Add meatballs to the sauce and coat.
- Finish with a sprinkle of chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
