Pear Sorbet

A wonderful easy pear sorbet with a unusual addition of cardamom.

Pear Sorbet

  • Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 5 ripe pears, cored and coarsely chopped
  • ½ to ¾ cup superfine sugar (depending on pears)
  • 3 tablespoons pear brandy
  • 3-5 cardamom pods, ground
  • pinch salt

Directions

  • Blend all together until mixture is smooth. Pour into ice cream freezer and freeze until firm.
